What do the moons mean?
The full moons have names corresponding to the calendar months and the seasons of the year. Apx every 20
years, February has no full moon at all and 7 out of every 19 years, two full moons will fall in the same
calendar month. The second of the month’s full moons is called the Blue Moon. Because this doesn't happen
very often, it gives us the vernacular "Once in a blue moon."
